Julie Snyder L. M. Snyder, OD, graduated summa cum laude from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She subsequently studied at SUNY College of Optometry where she earned her Doctor of Optometry. Rounding out her educational background, she completed a post-graduate residency in primary care and ocular disease at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she continues to serve as a consultant.
Dr. Snyder has earned numerous honors and awards throughout her academic experience, including the Pacesetter Award for Excellence in Primary Care, and has presented at national conferences. She is a member of Beta Sigma Kappa (International Optometric Honor Society), the American Optometric Association, Pennsylvania Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry and Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity.
Dr. Snyder resides in Lehigh Valley, with her husband, Alexander. She sees patients in Progressive Vision Institute’s Allentown office and treats a wide range of eye conditions and diseases as well as providing comprehensive primary eye care.
