Aaron R. Blehm, O.D., originally from Nebraska, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He then went on to earn another Bachelor of Science in Visual Science and earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.
Dr. Blehm has been caring for the eyes of Schuylkill and Berks Counties since 2009 and is trained in the latest advancements in eye care. He is committed to providing all patients with cutting-edge technology and providing the most effective care to his patients. Throughout his externship training, he received honors for clinical excellence.
Dr. Blehm performs comprehensive eye examinations with special emphasis on eye heath. He diagnoses diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts and other ocular pathology.
He also has special interest in contact lenses and fits a variety of contact lenses.
Dr. Blehm is a participating member of the American Optometric Society, Pennsylvania Optometric Society and Anthracite Optometric Society.
In his spare time, Dr. Blehm likes to spend quality time with his wife and children. He also enjoys traveling, sports, and is a volunteer coach for Cressona Area Baseball Association, Blue Mountain Recreation Basketball and Blue Mountain Soccer Club.
