Comprehensive Ophthalmologist, Eye Disease and Surgery, Oculoplastics
Betsy P. Luo, M.D., M.P.H. earned a B.A. in Economics from Columbia University and her M.P.H. in Health Care Management from the Yale School of Public Health. Dr. Luo continued on to earn her M.D. from Temple University School of Medicine. She completed her preliminary medicine internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. Dr. Luo then completed her residency at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She has been trained at Wills Eye Hospital for Oculoplastics. Dr. Luo has received several honors and awards. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and participated in many research projects.
She is an active associate for the Center for Value-Based Medicine, focusing on quality of life studies and health assessment. She is a member of the Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Medical Association. She enjoys traveling, running, hiking, cooking, and playing the piano.
